In 2021 Maddie was at work when Ashlynd over heard her say that she was ready to meet new people and find the one. Ashlynd said "oh if you are looking for someone you should meet my husband's best friend Stephen." Maddie said "yeah he seems like he could be a good friend." Ashlynd told Stephen about Maddie and Stephen laughed it off not thinking anything would come of it. While Ashlynd was trying to set up a double date, Maddie and Stephen kept pushing it off neither thinking the date was going to be a good idea. However Ashlynd was persistent and thank God for that because they finally went on a double date Sunday September 12th at top golf. Maddie fell in love with Stephen's Sweet smile and Stephen fell in love with Maddie's sassy banter. Their love has grown stronger everyday.
